| Samenvatting: | Immunity is a relevant system in pediatrics for the repercussion on its deficiencies and its relation to certain factors for its adequate response. The objective of the research was to evaluate the relationship between the effective immune response and the protective and risk factors in children aged 1 to 3 years of the Good Living Children's Centers in Zone 7 of Ecuador. The study is descriptive, cross-sectional analytic with a population of 5032 and a target population of 423 children aged 1 to 3 years old, with prior informed consent, a survey was conducted to obtain sociodemographic data, clinical criteria suggestive of immunodeficiency and FFSSIL Test . Among the results, it is noted that the general population has a prevalence of (78.3%) for the non-effective immune response and (21.7%) effective; According to the demographic and socioeconomic factors, 76.1% were male, 82.9% for the 3-year-old preschool, 84.4% for the province of Zamora Chinchipe, 80.7% The rural area and (88.0%) for low socioeconomic stratum. According to the high risk quartiles per canton we have 100% for Chilla, Sentinel of the Condor and Paquisha; (88.24%) for the cantons of Pangui and Palanda. (OR = 1.84 CI95% 1.130-3.011), adequate weight index (OR = 0.549 CI95% 0.373-0.947), family history of allergies (OR = 2.159 IC 95% 1.265-3.685), extended family (OR = 0.55 IC95% .333-0.923) and single parenteral (OR = 1.74, IC95% 1.058-2.871). It is concluded that the immune response was frequent and associated mainly to individual factors such as adequate weight index, type of delivery and relatives such as ontogenesis for the extended family and single parent family history and allergies, therefore a timely diagnostic orientation is important for Improve the quality of the pediatric population. Key Words Immune response, preschool, risk factor, protective factor, immunodeficiency. |
