Achoimre:This thesis entitled "PROJECT FEASIBILITY FOR THE CREATION OF A SMALL BUSINESS PRODUCER AND DISTRIBUTOR OF RED TILAPIA IN Shushufindi CANTON, Sucumbios, FOR 2015" was carried out in order to raise awareness and encourage consumption of Tilapia considering that today is one of the most profitable and innovative activities in the province and in Ecuador, gaining popularity among producers and consumers for its resemblance to marine species of great economic value, its fine texture and pleasant taste. deductive, inductive and statistical method was used for the project, as well as the different techniques which helped in the development and completion of the project, to study demand worked with a sample of 374 families living in Canton Shushufindi, and to study the offer surveyed 7 tilapia producers of the town, sources of primary information that served as the linchpin in the development for market research. In the market study determined that 79% of families living in the canton Shishufindi consume tilapia, of this total 91% corresponding to 9,713 families consume red tilapia, who have a per capita consumption is 49.73 kg red tilapia per family per year, reaching a total of 483,049 kg of tilapia per year; this amount of real demand for consumption 85% are willing to buy tilapia to the new micro consequently effective demand for red tilapia is 412,492 kg, while local producers generate a production of 76,800 kg per year, determining a unmet demand for 335,692 kg and for the tenth year amounts to 452 808 kg, concluding that the project is feasible as there is an unmet demand. According to the number of pools that microenterprise available for cultivation and production cycles, small businesses will have an installed capacity of 94,065 kg of tilapia fillet capacity, however it will start its operation at 70% capacity, which will increase 5% to reach 95% in the sixth year remaining 5% which will provide any setback in the production process, agreeing not to overestimate receive income microenterprise. For the proper functioning of the production plant is required to hire 18 employees, whose jobs will be distributed in 3 departments, small businesses will have the management executive and operational levels, adviser, assistant, also the functional organic was designed which details the and functions required of each employee profile. In the legal study defined the microenterprise the legal form of a limited company will be established with the corporate name of Microenterprise producer and marketer of Tilapia "Vera" and the product brand will be named "King Tilapia" the duration is 10 years. In the financial study investments analyzed both Fixed Assets, Deferred and working capital which established that for the implementation of the project an investment of $ 246,407.46, resources to be financed by 43% by the partners is required and the remaining 53% by the National Development Bank. The cost of production of each kg of tilapia is $ 3.75, figure that a profit of 20% giving a selling price of $ 4.50 per kg increases; in the first year of operation is expected to have revenues of $ microenterprise 296.057,87 and the tenth year this figure amounted to $ 533,226.11. The profit and loss shows that after payment of taxes and social benefits microenterprise employees will have a profit of $ 29,442.96 and the tenth year will be $ 91,158.09. Breakeven microenterprise is reached when it operates at 72.54% of its installed capacity and sales get $ 214,765.33; cash flow shows that the net flow for the first year will be $ 33,138.78 and in the tenth year this flow will reach $ 86.015,91. In the economic evaluation yielded the following results: NPV of $ 86,341.15; IRR is 16.31% higher than the rate of cost of capital figure; Cost-Benefit Ratio shows that for every dollar invested microenterprise earn 0.28 cents; The recovery period indicates that capital investment will pay off in 5 years, 5 months and 28 days; Finally the sensitivity analysis indicates that the project supports an increase in costs of up to 12,20% and a decrease in sales of up to 9.56%. The environmental and social study showed that although the project will generate an environmental impact, these can be mitigated by applying techniques that favor other productive activities. In general it is concluded that based on the analysis performed in market research, technical and financial, the project is profitable and it is advisable to carry out, since it presents rates of return being contribution to change Matrix Production . Finally, based on the results it ensures that the project contributes to agro-industrial development through the use of natural resources, climate and other appropriate exploitation of crop varieties ensuring the sustainability of investment and growth as limited technical management it is one of the limiting factors for the generation of farm units in Shushufindi.
