Čoahkkáigeassu:The purpose of this project is to develop a system for measuring environmental variables for large extension agricultural terrain. To this end, a prototype system has been developed that uses two kinds of devices that interact with each other, these devices are: The Sensor Node, which is the device responsible for collecting the data directly from the environment. The Sensor Node, inside it has 5 sensors, which has the finalit to measure the following environmental variables: CO2, Air humidity, Soil humidity, soil pH, Barometric pressure and Ambient temperature. The Sensor Node, having to be located in distant places and therefore out of the reach of everyday electrical sources, is equipped with its own solar panel and its battery, which supplies it with energy to operate constantly The System Gateway, which is the device responsible for receiving the data collected by the Sensor Node. The System Gateway, after receiving the collected data, is responsible for storing this information in its database. The System Gateway is also responsible for containing the web server, which provides a web interface that allows the end user to observe the data collected through real-time graphs. Both intercom devices use CCS modulation (Chirp Spread Spectrum) or also known as LoRa, used for LPWAN LoRaWAN technology in their IoT networks. The use of this modulation allows the developed system to have characteristics similar to LoRaWAN networks, which among its most recognized particularities are: its long coverage distances, its low power consumption, its scalability, and its low cost.
