Summary:The development of the present work of the present investigation work on the exercise of the executive function and its incidence in the performance of the educational and administrative personnel of the Mixed fiscal association “Rosa Herlinda García de García”, of Amaluza city, Canton Espíndola, province of Loja, during the elective period 2008-2009. Alternative Lineaments. It is based on the diagnosis that revealed weaknesses in the fulfillment of this function. The general objective to establish the incidence of the exercise of the directive function, on the part of the authorities of the facility, in the educational and administrative personnel of the Mixed fiscal associational “Rosa Herlinda García de García”, of Amaluza city, Canton Espíndola, province of Loja, during the elective period 2008-2009. In the analysis of the information were used the following methods and technical: Methods: inductive, deductive, analytical, synthetic, and statistic, subject to what was established in the relevant project, for the treatment of the involved variables, were applied technical as: the survey, the same that through questionnaire as instrument was applied got the educational and administrative personnel, this in order to investigate, from different points of view the situation that lives the educational institution. The interview was the technique that it was applied to the members of the executive function, through the use of a structured interview file as instruments that helped us to build and establish dialogues with them in order to know the functions as executive of his institution. Between the gotten results after the process of the research, it was meeting problems as: lower planning, execution, and evaluation activities, lack of leadership in the members of the executive function, lack of communication and insufficient human talent. Within the greater failings determined during the investigation process is the lack of leadership and of programmed activities evaluation, situation that blocks the academic and administrative development of the institution, Reasons therefore we propose as proposal of solution from the different problems, two lineaments alternative that they are: on institutional Leadership and Strengthening of the exercise of the functions and reflected in an education of quality, agreed the current requirements and to the middle in which we lived.
