| Summary: | A Quality Management System in teaching laboratories is essential to guarantee educational quality and the accuracy of results, consequently promoting a safe environment and complying with established regulations. The main objective of this paper is to develop pre-analytical processes of the Haematology and Microbiology Laboratories that belong to the Faculty of Human Health; To meet the objectives, a descriptive study was executed. This investigation was developed in three stages: in the first stage, the pertinent and administrative procedures required to obtain the authorization for the development of this work were done, then the diagnosis of compliance with standards or requirements of a quality management model was performed. In the second stage, a map of processes that are currently executed in haematology and microbiology teaching laboratories was structured, then the identification of the types and processes that need to be implemented in the pre-analytical area in teaching laboratories was conducted. In the third stage, a document preparation guide was developed, which will define the structure of all the processes to be diagrammed, and finally the elaboration of all the processes that are already part of, and are still not integrated into the pre-analytical phase of the Teaching Laboratories was developed. It was suggested the implementation of a QMS to guarantee a better development in its activities and thus better satisfy teachers and students |
