Desarrollo e implantación de una aplicación informática para la planificación académica del Área de la Energía, las Industrias y los Recursos Naturales no Renovables.

This research work was carried out in response to the need of a technological application that helps in the development of academic planning in the area of Energy Industries and Non-Renewable Natural Resources of the Universidad Nacional de Loja. The requirements of this technological application were obtained from the Reglamento de Escalafón Docente e Investigador del Sistema de Educación Superior, and on the advice of the expert user, in order to contribute to the task that Deans do every semester. In order to achieve this goal, a genetic algorithm has been applied which is a heuristic technique that allows finding high quality solutions to problems where the solution choices are infinite. The project has been developed by using the ICONIX methodology which is an agile development. To build the software, the LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) was selected and the MVC pattern (Model View Controller) and FrameWork Symfony version 2 were used.
