To carry out the investigation, 15 women and 15 men were taken as informants, lojanos or who live more than 5 years in the province, with an age range between 18 to 80 years. Their interviews were drawn from the project El castellano hablado en Loja (1940-2019): aproximaciones diatópica, diastrática y diafásica of the National University of Loja, in which a verb + gerund guide structure was applied to facilitate the search and organization. With the results it is determined that being + gerund is the favorite verbal complex of the lojanos. It is men who use periphrasis more frequently, especially when they relate past events. These experiences are narrated in a special way, they include elements that convey more real ideas and striking, these elements are identified as narrative present. Given this it is determined that the dominant auxiliary in the verbal phrases of the Lojan dialect is a state verb, which stands out in male speakers. |
