| Резюме: | This research is titled: GAME AND GROSS MOTOR SKILLS IN CHILDREN FROM 4 TO 5 YEARS OLD AT “ATENEO” SCHOOL LOCATED IN THE CITY OF LOJA, PERIOD 2019-2020. Its general objective was to analyze the importance of games in gross motor skills in children from 4 to 5 years old. The non-experimental design was used because none of the variables were manipulated. It was based on a mixed approach to analyze quantitative and qualitative data; In addition, the following methods were used: analytical, because the information obtained was analyzed. Synthetic, since it was applied in the elaboration of recommendations. Descriptive, because gross motor deficiencies were established. Deductive and Inductive, for the analysis and interpretation of the results. As a technique, the survey was used, aimed at the teachers of the Ateneo Private Educational Unit with the aim of collecting information about the game and as an instrument the Nelson Ortiz Scale that served to identify gross motor problems in children aged 4-5 years. A common diagnosis was made in 31 institutions in the city of Loja; For the present investigation, an Institution with a total of 11 children was taken, considering the sample of 9 children and 2 teachers, responding to the nonprobability sampling for convenience. The results of the diagnosis showed that 55% of the children were at a medium level and 11% at an alert level in the development of gross motor skills. Concluding that the teachers do not apply the didactic strategies correctly, for this reason a proposal called `` My body playing has fun '' was developed, based on different games, to strengthen gross motor skills in children, the same that will be applied by the Teachers of the Institution. |
