总结:Burnout Syndrome is a state of mental, emotional and physical exhaustion that has increased its frequency and manifestation in multiple professionals and occupational groups. The purposes were to examine the existing signs of Burnout Syndrome, to characterize in sociodemographic terms and to identify the level of affectation in relation to the dimensions that compose the syndrome in company workers in Loja with the aim of designing a proposal for its prevention and management within the business environment. The research method used in this study were mixed, descriptive, observational, cross-sectional cohort approach. 72 workers of the companies from La Sureñita S.A., Induloja, Parrilladas El Fogón, Prolcom CIA LTDA were considered for the sampling. The technique used was the data collection sheet and Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey. The results obtained determined that 27.78% showed signs in one or two dimensions that did not meet the diagnostic criteria. The majority of the participants were female 54.17% in comparison to 45.83% of the male participants, 60.61% of the male population was married, 48.72% of the female population was single, without children, and residents of the urban area; Burnout is the affection that affects the most with 12.5%, professional efficiency 8.33% and cynicism 6.94%; Psychoeducational workshops were proposed as prevention and management of this syndrome. Although the population did not meet the diagnostic criteria for this syndrome at the time of the investigation, they are still at risk, and it is important to avoid the development of this issue through preventive measures
