Ամփոփում: | In the present titling work the study and design of a wastewater treatment plant was made for the shuar community Martin Ujukam that belongs to the Timbara parish, Zamora canton, province of Zamora Chinchipe. The investigation was carried out using the descriptive method with a quantitative approach, initially performing a diagnosis to the study area through application of the surveys and interviews in order to obtain social demographic information, the economic and environmental situation of the community, in addition, the point of discharge of the waste water was identified in order to determinate the type of discharge to proceed with the correct physical, chemical and microbiological characterization of the residual water, which was done by simple sampling, using suitable materials as established in the sampling protocol of the norm INEN 2169. Also, the volumetric method determined the average flow rate of 0.29 l/s per day, and the future population was calculated with the respective annual growth rate according to the National Statics and Census Institute (INEC) established in the plan of territorial organization Timbara, whose results were very important to generate the respective design of the treatment systems. The selection of the systems of treatment of wastewater was performed by the technical recommendations for small communities, establishing purification system that adapts better to the conditions of the area and according to the results of the parameters of the sample, therefore, the area of placement of the system was identified being an accessible and suitable place for the design of: an arrival channel, thinning, imhoff tank, anaerobic filter and its respective sludge drying bed, likewise the respective design of the wastewater plant enclosure was elaborated, whose objective is to prevent damage to the purification systems by unauthorized persons. Once all the information has been collected and the design of the wastewater treatment plant for the community has been completed, the proposal is concluded according to the format of the National Secretariat for Planning and Development (SENPLADES). |
