Čoahkkáigeassu:The purpose of this research was to determine the impact of financing on the profitability of construction companies in Loja city, using research tools to formulate strategies to take better advantage of the resources available to them. In order to fulfill the objectives, a methodology was developed according to the problem posed, where a non-experimental mixed approach research with cross-sectional, descriptive and explanatory type was carried out, in addition to techniques such as survey and bibliographic compilation. The results obtained from the survey and financial statements made it possible to determine the level of academic training of the managers, the dissemination of their advertising, the activities they carry out, the services they provide, sources of resources, destination of financing, liquidity, size of the company, income and expenses, which made it possible to detect their strengths and weaknesses, thus identifying the socioeconomic and financial conditions of the construction companies. On the other hand, the statistical tests determined that short-term financing has a weak but important relationship with profitability and affects it, while long-term financing has a weak relationship with profitability but does not affect it. These results were obtained because a large percentage of construction companies had high indebtedness but low profitability and, in some cases, even a loss. The work was oriented 68.75% to small construction companies in the city of Loja. Finally, strategies oriented to the fundamental use of social networks as a means of dissemination of the activities carried out by the construction companies were proposed in order to attract a higher percentage of customers and consolidate in the market, in addition to a formal financing proposal that allows improving the costs and terms for adequate growth and improvement of their profitability.
