Sažetak:Assertiveness is an essential component of social skills, it consists of defending rights, expressing opinions and suggestions in a clear and conscious way without falling into aggressiveness or passivity, respecting others and respecting oneself. The present research aims to implement the psychoeducational strategy based on group dynamics to strengthen assertiveness in seventh grade students of the Basic General Education Unit Manuel Cabrera Lozano, to achieve this a hypothetical descriptive study with a quantitative approach was carried out; scientific, deductive, inductive, analytical, synthetic, historical, diagnostic, modelling and statistical methods were used. In addition, the CABS Assertive Behavior Scale for Children was applied to a sample of 22 seventh-year students. The results of the pretest were equivalent to 61% between passive and assertive behavior, while 39% in assertiveness. The systematization of the results shed light on the relevant aspects for the design of the intervention and with its execution the results of the post-test are equivalent to 35% between passive and aggressive, and 65% in assertiveness, thus achieving to strengthen assertiveness, validating the research through the T test for a sample, the mean of the pre-test=211 and the mean of the post-test=278, thus reaching a significant difference between them. Concluding that the implementation of the strategy managed to strengthen assertiveness in students, generating a better understanding and defense methods without being aggressive or passive.
