The main goal of this work is defined a strategic plan that let us to work taking account objectives, strategies, politics and actions that look for improving the competitive level and reach a good position in the local market as soon as in the farm industry of the south part of the country. The positional diagnostic will analyze the inside work of the enterprise and the main factors that influence in the customers satisfaction, this work let us establish as main strengths the directives experience in the milk products market, the ability of human group and the row material disponibility. In the other hand, the principal weaknesses are that the enterprise doesn’t have a remarkable position in the local market and there are deficiencies in the productive process of quality and commercialization activity. The analysis result show that the economic conditions of the country and the consume tendencies of the people help to develop the enterprise activities in the farm and food industry. The strategic plan defines the philosophic elements of the enterprise: Mission, Vision and the Values of the organization. The strategic objectives look for improving the competitive grade and the results of the action taking account the implementation of Good Methods of Manufacture (in Spanish BPM) and the fulfillment of quality standards that produce a competitive advantage and offer a plus to this costumers. Beside that the strategies look for improving the productive process and commercialization, so and the same way get the empowerment inside the human group. The Operative Plan establish the strategic activities that it should follow during the period 2014-2018 it determined the responsible areas of its develop and place the control indicatives and fulfillment evaluation.

La empresa produce yogurt, yogurt con cereal, queso fresco y manjar, productos que son comercializados con la marca Lactofino principalmente en la ciudad de Loja. El objetivo principal del presente trabajo es definir un plan estratégico que permita orientar la gestión empresarial de la compañía considerando objetivos, estrategias, políticas y acciones que busquen mejorar el nivel de competitividad y lograr el posicionamiento dentro del mercado local así como en el sector agroindustrial de la región sur del país. El diagnóstico situacional, contempla el análisis interno de la empresa y de los factores que influyen directamente en la satisfacción de sus clientes, permitiendo establecer como principales fortalezas la experiencia de los directivos en el sector lácteo, la capacidad del talento humano y la disponibilidad de materia prima. En cuanto a las debilidades se determinó que la empresa no está posicionada en el mercado local y que existen deficiencias en los procesos productivos, de gestión de calidad y comercialización. El resultado de análisis del entorno muestra que las condiciones económicas del país y las tendencias de consumo de la población favorecen el desarrollo de las actividades empresariales en el sector agroindustrial y alimenticio. Bajo estas consideraciones se estructuró una propuesta de plan estratégico que en primera instancia define los elementos filosóficos de la empresa: Misión, Visión y Valores Empresariales. Además, se plantean objetivos estratégicos dirigidos a mejorar la competitividad y resultados de la gestión, considerando básicamente la implementación de Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura (BPM) y el cumplimiento de estándares de calidad como elementos diferenciadores que generen una ventaja competitiva y ofrezcan un valor agregado a sus clientes. Además, las estrategias planteadas buscan mejorar los procesos productivos y de comercialización, así como lograr el empoderamiento del talento humano.
