Резюме:This research study type quantitative, descriptive cross-sectional, in which the main objective was to determine the influence of television on the psychological behavior in children from 5th to 7th grade Basic School of Lauro Damerval Ayora Loja period May-June 2014, the sample consisted of 102 children aged 9-11 years who were given a survey conducted in accordance with the objectives and a test to detect the behavior Hyperactivity Disorder and Attention Deficit (Conners parents). The results show that 70. 58% had suspected behavioral Disorder Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Further evidence that 82.35% of students watch television 3-4 hours a day, 59.80% were exposed to watching television at the age of 2-4 years and the 77.45% of students watch television under adult supervision . For this reason it was concluded that the hours devoted to television and the age of first exposure to it, are aggravating factors for Disorder behavior Hyperactivity Attention Deficit (ADHD) so it is necessary to promote strategies that contribute to improve this problem.
