Agregar Etiqueta | Sumario: | ABSTRACT The oral diseases are a major problem in our country, especially in our city rural and urban parishes, with emphasis on dental caries was most represented, if not treated in time can become a potential health risk in general. The present research was conducted in Jimbilla and had as main objective the diagnosis of oral health among school students and colleg, and the identification of risk factors that contributed to the presence of pathologies. This project is quantitative, descriptive, and prospective, cross sectional study, a sample of 179 children, the survey was conducted to find risk factors and clinical history identified pathologies. The pathologies found were 100 % dental caries, gingival inflammation 62 % 21.8% 0.6 % gingival bleeding and recession, and 6.7% of altered occlusion. Only 0.47% specifically tongue thrusting habits , bite rates are 6.6 % found aa aa bite , anterior open 2.8 % , 0.6 % deep bite and premature loss decidua , 1.1 % of anterior cross bite cross bite and just later. It was also found 4.5% of mild dental fluorosis. Keywords: Oral Health, risk factors, dental caries, children and adolescents. |
