Análisis del informativo canal sur noticias, del canal municipal de Loja, en el periodo octubre- diciembre 2017

Television can be defined as a medium that directs culture and daily values, since the viewer can endorse the values that he observes daily and also influence his personality, in other words, television is a medium that has power, strength and influence in a human being, due to his insight that grabbed attention for many years before the emergence of the digital age. Motivated on the influence that the Informative has in the Lojan citizenship, the present investigative work called: “Analysis of the news Channel Sur News, of the municipal channel of Loja, in the period October-December 2017” was raised. This research was developed based on the institutional legal framework, regulated by the National University of Loja and with the support of methods, procedures and techniques, which allowed to obtain sufficient and necessary information for the development of the entire process. The scientific method effectively contributed to establishing the conceptual theoretical framework and the characteristics and importance around television news; to, from this perspective, inquire about the object of study considering also the content, the institutional and legal framework of the operations of this public means of communication. The inductive method allowed to study the problem and determine the subject and objectives; and, the deductive method led to study the problem and reach the respective conclusions and recommendations. One of the techniques used was the interview which allowed obtaining real and truthful information from those involved; and, the observation, which allowed to collect through a technical file all the necessary aspects of the journalistic notes of the period under study. The population under study was made up of fourteen people working in the news, including journalists, cameramen, producers, presenters and publishers. The statistical tabulation of the information facilitated to establish the interpretation of data and the determination of the disorganization of the positions within the informative in the realization of the basic activities, compilation of journalistic notes, edition of the news material and realization of live programs. That is why, it is concluded that the information issued during the months of October - December 2017 is varied and biased and that the activities and functions of the Informative workers are not well defined according to the position they occupy, which shows that it is essential, not only to plan them but to facilitate their realization through a manual of procedures and functions. However, the staff in charge of the news has adapted to the routine and fulfills their tasks leaving aside inescapable activities that could mean quality in their work.
