Summary:This research entitled: THE KNOWLEDGE OF PSYCHOPEDAGOGIC TEACHERS AND THEIR IMPACT ON LEARNING PROCESS AREA LANGUAGE ARTS CHILDREN OF SEVENTH GRADE sublevel BASIC MEDIA GENERAL EDUCATION BASIC EDUCATION UNIT ''ENGINEERS JOSEPH'' N°1 PITAS THE NEIGHBORHOOD, AND PARISH CANTON VALLEY LOJA PROVINCE. LECTIVO PERIOD 2012-2013. It aims to contribute to the qualitative improvement of teaching and learning in the area of Language Arts children's seventh grade Education Unit ''Engineers Joseph’’ N°.1 process as it will also allow us to know the rights and wrongs human talent working in this school. The specific objectives are planned to determine the level of knowledge possessed psycho teachers and pedagogical model used in the teaching-learning process. In the methodology as scientific methods, inductive, deductive, analytic-synthetic descriptive thereof that were fundamental to the implementation literature review, analysis and interpretation of surveys and other research parameters were used, the survey technique was used to achieve greater certainty of the reality on the level of psycho-pedagogical knowledge and its impact on the teaching-learning process. For presentation of results and verification of hypotheses, we proceeded through the deductive method and descriptive statistics, which allowed me to know that poor psychology teacher training does not allow optimal development of teaching and learning of language and literature of the process children of ''Engineers Joseph’’ N°1 Education Unit. Therefore I can conclude that there are teachers with many years of experience they have not updated their didactics and pedagogy, who use the traditional model for the teaching-learning process and therefore do not make use of the advantages that new pedagogical models offer denying the student the possibility of augmenting their skills. Considering this, an alternative proposal in order to sensitize teachers on lifelong learning which involves not only technical training but also psychology training and other branches of scientific knowledge, technical and computer are raised, this will take pursued through the implementation of a Conference-workshop Forum with the theme awareness plays vital role teaching in society.
