| Shrnutí: | The main purpose of this research is to develop professional practices on internal drinking water networks at the Faculty of Energy, Industries and non-Renewable Natural Resources at Universidad Nacional de Loja. For this purpose, hydraulic networks of ten buildings were evaluated and the methodology was based on hydraulic analysis using the Darcy-Weisbach method.. The system was validated by applying Epanet software to the hydraulic network of the laboratory building for friction loss load calculation and supply load and pumping capacity. On the other hand, the hydraulic network of all buildings of the deparments was analyzed applying the NEC-2011 standard and a guide for laboratory practices was elaborated, which considers the laboratory building as a stage for practices. the results demonstrate accuracy using Darcy-Weisbach's method using excel sheets, which is presented by epanet. it is also evident that with the Nec-2011 standard method, there is an approximate 7% increase in friction loss load which implies an increase in pumping power, this means that the NEC-2011 standard works with a higher safety factor. Likewise, the proposed practice guide was validated by the students through the fluid mechanics course these were analyzed for the respective feedback to the present thesis. In conclusion, the buildings of the faculty can be used as real scenarios for laboratory practices on internal potable water networks-RIDAP.
