Summary:The broad objective of this study is to design a SCADA system that is a category of software application program for process control, the gathering and analyzing of data in real time from remote locations in order to control equipment and conditions. This thesis is based on the design of the SCADA system for a refrigeration test bench. The SCADA software used is a demo versión of Movicon 11.3, this software will startup in demo mode complete with all functionalities for a limited time of 2 hours per session to design one complete process without user license. The system uses the PLC Siemens S7 1200 CPU 1212 ACDC and two analog input modules for temperature sensors. This system allows monitoring all the data from the field from PLC via Ethernet network through the modem D-Link DIR 610. The system has six synoptics: home, main synoptic, alarms, settings, historical graphics and a help synoptic. This will control the temperature inside the cooling chamber, generate and print reports of alarms, visualize trends, historical temperature and pressure data of the test bench in real time.
