Итог:The use of ruminal activating allows to achieve a synchronization between energy and nitrogen metabolisms in the rumen and, consequently, to increase the productive response of the animals. The present work was oriented to evaluate the effect of a ruminal activator in the fattening of crossbred young bulls in grazing. It was worked for a period of 60 days, with 10 Brahman crossbred animals between 15 and 18 months of age, and an average weight of 372 kg; Two experimental groups of five animals each were formed, by means of a completely randomized design; the treatments evaluated were: ruminal activator supplement T1 and control T2. The following variables were studied: bromatological composition of the pasture and the supplement, feed consumption, weight gain, feed conversion, profitability and cost-benefit ratio; Analysis of variance and Tukey's test were performed on each of the variables. The results showed acceptable crude protein (CP) content of the grass (Panicum Maximum) with 7.07%, although the crude fiber content (FC) was high; the supplement presented 79.35% of dry matter (DM), 14.85% of CP and 15.75% of FC. Higher feed intake (13.4 kg p≤0.001), weight gain (726.7 g; p≤0.001) and better feed conversion (15.5; p≤0.001) were recorded in treatment one; the economic indicators were acceptable in group one. It is concluded that the supply of ruminal activator supplement allows to improve the productive and economic indicators in beef cattle in grazing systems.
