| Shrnutí: | Violence is a human rights issue that deeply affects the project lives and affects the development of communities and society. In Ecuador 6 out of 10 women have experienced some form of violence that is approximately 53 % , of which only 17% are detected by Emergency Health Services in our country , Therefore it is essential to promote early detection by Health Professionals who are involved in primary care with these patients achieving proper care of them. To do this in the present investigation a sample of 50 patients who presented to the Emergency Provincial General Hospital Isidro Ayora in the period June-July 2013 , with indicators to be victims of Domestic Violence to the clinical history was made was taken, and the Semi- Structured Interview Psychological applied . The result being that the majority of victims are female with 95 %, 90% of perpetrators are spouses and cohabitants, the most common form of violence is physical - Psychology with 50% and the level of detection Emergency service is only 26 %. There fore we proceeded to the execution of a Plan Primary Intervention addressed to Medical Staff working in the Emergency Service of the Health Unit, in order to decrease the incidence of these cases by detection and timely treatment of victims GBV.
