Summary:The aim of this study was to identify the main risk factors that affect the appearance of hypertensive disorders of pregnant teenagers Loja Isidro Ayora Hospital in the period from January to June 2015, in order to obtain actual data help us implement programs of primary care and prevention of complications during pregnancy. The design of this research is descriptive, prospective and longitudinal with the presence of 30 adolescents with hypertensive disorders, medical records of adolescents admitted to the Obstetrics-Gynecology Service was investigated. Within the study population it was determined that the lower age of 20, education level, marital status of the adolescents and their activities during pregnancy were statistically associated with preeclampsia. While chronic diseases associated evaluated in the study (HTA, renal failure, diabetes), the highest percentage is the HBP has a 50.00% .The incidence of preeclampsia was 70% which required cesarean delivery. These findings show the main risk factors for preeclampsia in the studied population, which can serve as clinical data to detect the disease in early clinical stages and prevent its progression to severe complications.
