الملخص:The objective of the research work, arose from the need to analyze whether the virtual communication with previously created identity, causes imbalance of interpersonal communication in adolescents of 15 years of Bernardo Valdivieso School in the city of Loja. The methodological process facilitated the collection and processing of data obtained, which was carried out according to the objective of the research, according to which it was intended to analyze how they present and build their identity on Facebook teenagers of 15 years of the Bernardo Valdivieso school, to improve virtual communication To obtain direct information, surveys and observation cards were made by monitoring the Facebook profiles of the 60 students of the Bernardo Valdivieso school; and interviews with specialists in adolescence, which allowed to obtain valuable information about the importation of facebook in the construction of the identity for a good communication. From the results of the investigative process, it was concluded that: Facebook appears before the adolescents of 15 years of the Bernardo Valdivieso School as a range of opportunities, to create and reconstruct their identity according to the interests of the group in which it is inverse, achieving Link virtual communication with interpersonal communication. In this way, all these results have led to propose an alternative proposal aimed at building an interactive digital platform run by the guidance and systems departments of the Bernardo Valdivieso school, which will allow 15-yearold adolescents to be trained in workshops on the application of adequate communication techniques in the use of the facebook social network for the construction of identity based on real patterns
