Summary:The research titled OVERPROTECTOR BEHAVIORS AND ITS IMPACT ON THE EXPRESSIVE LANGUAGE IN CHILDREN FROM 1 TO 3 YEARS OF THE RUIZ DE GODOY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER OF THE CITY OF LOJA, ACADEMIC PERIOD 2018-2019; Its general objective is to determine the impact of overprotective behaviors on the development of expressive language in children aged 1 to 3 years of the Centro Infantil Development Blanca Ruiz de Godoy. In the literature review, topics related to overprotective behaviors and expressive language were addressed; In the development of the research the methods were used: scientific, statistical-descriptive, deductive, comparative, analytical-synthetic. The information was obtained through a survey and a checklist based on the Portage development guide, specifically the language area, the population investigated was 26 children, 26 parents and 4 teachers, the results obtained showed that the majority of children were in the Start item (57.15%) and (52.63%) and in process (28.57%) and (26.32%) in several literals, presenting problems such as language delay , evolutionary dyslalias, mutism, therefore, in order to strengthen this area, the activities guide called “With stories and songs I speak words” and workshops were designed and applied to parents to raise awareness and guide the subject; evidencing a notable decrease in the problem of 14% in the first and in the second between 5% and 15%, teachers are encouraged to continue using the activities and do them in a more playful way, as well as conducting more workshops with parents in order to reduce overprotective behaviors the excess attention and care to improve the expressive language that allows children to express their emotions and feelings.
