סיכום:Emotions are typical of the human being, each person experiences an emotion in a particular way, depending on their previous experiences, so that they help to react quickly to unexpected events that work automatically, due to the aforementioned it is essential to promote control of emotions from an early age, in order to generate firm foundations for their subsequent development, in their cognitive and emotional development of children, for this reason it is sought to determine how playful activities help to control emotions in children from 5 to 6 years of age. Lauro Damerval School of Basic Education, which was carried out under a mixed approach, with a quasi-experimental design and a descriptive scope, for the fulfillment of the objectives the following methods were used: inductive-deductive and analytical-synthetic, with a sample corresponding to 21 children from 5 to 6 years old, to whom the Mesquite Test (adapted) was applied, which showed the level of emotions in which the children were found, obtaining as a result that 48% of them were at a level of low emotional intelligence, observing difficulties in self-control, empathy, and recognition of emotions; so that an activity guide entitled "My little box of emotions" was opened and executed, made up of forty playful activities, related to content such as: emotional knowledge, emotion regulation and emotion recognition, after the application of the post-test it was evidenced a decrease in the level of low emotional intelligence, remaining only at 14%, so that most of the children reached other levels, achieving a decrease of 34% in the level of low emotional intelligence since they were able to identify emotions, they are empathetic with their peers, which corroborates that playful activities help to control emotions in children.
