Inside educational establishments emergencies and urgencies that may risk students’ lives can happen. For that Rules and International Protocols like the American Heart Association (AHA) and Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS) guides teaches the right way to act in this kind of situation. This research seeks to: establish the level of knowledge about First Aid and Basic Life Support in the students of the first and second years of High School, parallel "I" of the Beatriz Cueva de Ayora High School in Loja City; to present a proposal of training on First aid and basic life support in the first and second year students of baccalaureate, parallel "I" of the Beatriz Cueva de Ayora High School of Loja city; and execute the training proposal. It was a research project that is part of a Macro-project of Descriptive, Transversal, and intervention type whose population was made up of 156 students between the first and second year of the "Beatriz Cueva de Ayora" high school, the sample of 18 students who make up a single parallel. As instruments, a questionnaire of 15 questions of authorship of the Macro project was applied. The results indicate that initially the level of Knowledge of First Aid was 77.77% Insufficient. Subsequent to the intervention and training there was an improvement being 38.88% excellent and 61.11.33% as satisfactory. It is suggested that students' academic training be supplemented with first aid training programs and basic life support, either with seminars, workshops or simulation courses.
