Shrnutí:The present research is on LUDIC TECHNIQUES TO IMPROVE THE SELF-ESTEEM OF THE SIXTH-YEAR STUDENTS AT UNIDAD EDUCATIVA “CIUDAD DE LOJA” IN THE AFTERNOON SECTION, LOJA. 2016-2017, for this work was formulated as a general objective: Implement ludic techniques to improve the self-esteem of the sixth-year students at Unidad Educativa “Ciudad de Loja” in the afternoon section, Loja. 2016-2017. This research responded to a descriptive approach also it has a cross-sectional study and a pre-experimental design, the methods used were: the scientific, deductive, inductive, analytic-synthetic and statistical, the technique employed was the direct observation and as instruments were applied, the self-esteem scale from Lucy Reidl, to know the level of selfesteem that the students present. The population was made up by 96 students from which, 16 students of the sixth year of the Basic General Education, were taken as a sample. Workshops were conducted based in ludic techniques to improve students' self-esteem. As a result of the research, it is concluded that the level of self-esteem of schoolchildren improved significantly since in the initial diagnosis the majority of the students that is to say the 63% presented an insufficient level of self-steem and subsequent to the application of the proposal psychoeducational, a significant improvement was evidenced, by virtue of which the 63% of the studentsraise your self-esteem to a sufficient level, thus validating the intervention proposal, so it is recommended to the teacher to give continuity the use of the ludic techniques to follow strengthening the self-esteem of their students.
