Proyecto de factibilidad para la creación de una empresa incubadora y procesadora de pollos y su comercializacion a los minoristas del cantón Catamayo

This research work was carried out in Canton Catamayo Loja Province, with the main objective of the feasibility study for the creation of a hatchery and poultry processing and marketing in the geographical area referred company. For this we use several methods as scientific, analytical, deductive and inductive techniques such as direct observation, interview and survey them that allowed us to gather relevant information for this project. Thus being able to perform market research in which basically apply the survey to 283 retail stores and 34 Canton Catamayo surveys chicken wholesalers, and demonstrate that there is an effective demand for 1,962,056.64 pounds of chicken; on the supply side we have the amount of 564,114 pounds for the first year, which is not enough as there is an unmet demand of 1,397,943. Within the technical study we calculate the installed capacity will be 221,738 pounds of chicken and a capacity utilization of 177.39 thousand pounds for the first year. Could also determine the macro and micro localization of the company, because we see that in the market there is the availability of raw materials, ease of access for consumers, ease of transportation, utilities, infrastructure, among others, determined so location more Pro will be in the province of Loja, Canton and city of Catamayo sector of the route to the coast. In organizational study determined the constitution of the company, which will have the same company name POULTRY ORTEGA CIA. LTDA., And will be limited liability, staff working in the administrative part will be a general manager, a secretary-Contadina, a salesman and on the operational side will have three workers, they be identified in the structural and functional organization, also receiving the manual functions. The financial study allowed us to determine that the implementation of the company is advisable. As the total investment for this project will be $ $ 176,314.72 to be financed with 43% contributed by the shareholders and 57% by a loan from the National Finance Corporation, also for the first year costs will be $ 164,415 08, revenue will reach $ 230,181.11, arriving to obtain a net profit of $ 39,829.55. In the economic assessment a NPV of $ 109,451.60 was determined, was also obtained an IRR of 21.31% well above the 10.85% interest bank loan, investment also recovered in 4 years, 2 months and 6 days, was determined also, a benefit-Short of 1.4 and finally decided that the project will support up to a 13.1% increase in costs and a decrease to 9.4% of revenues. In order using each method and technique could perform the aforementioned studies favorable results in each of them allowing us to conclude that the company incubator and Processing of chickens to the canton Catamayo is feasible to implement and has a promising future
