Diagnóstico comunitario de salud del barrio Salapa Bajo sector I y II septiembre - diciembre de 2013

The present study titled "DIAGNOSIS OF THE COMMUNITY HEALTH OF THE NEIGHBOURHOOD SALAPA BAJO SECTOR I AND II , SEPTEMBER- DECEMBER 2013 " is framed in the macro - project "NURSING PARTICIPATION IN THE MODEL OF COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH CARE - MAIS UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL OF MOTUPE SEPTEMBER - DECEMBER 2013" and it is aimed at contributing to the social development of the town. It has also provided statistical data. These data will enable the staff of the University Hospital of Motupe to develop strategies for maintaining and improving the health of people, families and communities, from a bio-psychosocial, multidisciplinary and intercultural approach. The study was done in a descriptive form. It is emphasized on the analysis and interpretation of the facts. The methodology relied on the strategies established in the comprehensive health care model. Strategies such as Home Visits to implement the Family Record and the interview guide that allowed to complete information for the baseline, where the main problems were identified in order to take the appropriate technical and political decisions adapted for the local reality seeking to optimize institutional responses and encourage community participation in improving health conditions. (Guerrero and Slimming, 2009:4). Among the most relevant data, certain indicators stand out, such as the prevalence of the female sex, basic education level, the householders engage in activities such as domestic chores, farming, masonry, in school children and adolescents cases of malnutrition were observed, obesity and most of them study. For family planning in women of childbearing age, the rhythm method is the most widely used and in what respects to the epidemiological profile of chronic diseases, hypertension stands out.
