| Izvleček: | The present research aims to analyze the social criteria and success factors of the videos broadcast by "Luz María, life stories" on Facebook, in the period September 2023. The study combined exploratory, quantitative and qualitative approaches, using the survey and interview as techniques and the questionnaire as an instrument to collect data. The Top 10 most viewed videos up to July 2023 were identified, then surveys were conducted with the inhabitants of Loja to learn their perspective, and interviews were conducted with both a member of the "Luz María, historia de vida" team and an expert in audiovisual production. The results revealed that the selection of unconventional protagonists, such as a person of short stature, is crucial to attract the audience, as well as peculiar or inclusive themes connect emotionally with viewers. In addition, interaction with the audience through lives contributes significantly to audience engagement. On the other hand, the inclusion of dramatic and reflective situations are fundamental in their content production. The statistics of the total sample show that 92% watch the videos of "Luz María, historia de vida", of which 35% watch the content daily, and 32% share the reflective videos because the story specifically moved them.
