Zusammenfassung:The present curricular integration work entitled The Obstruction of the Visitation Regime and the Best Interests of the Child and Adolescent in Ecuador, has the purpose of analyzing the regulation of the visitation regime in Ecuador and its effect on the best interests of the child. This is to determine if it is necessary to propose regulatory reforms that consider the negative influence of obstructing the visitation regime on the creation of emotional bonds with their parents and how this can affect the integral development of the minors. Therefore, to concretely achieve the proposed objectives, a methodology was applied that allowed the strengthening of the research, which is based on the application of descriptive, inductive, deductive, and analytical methods, in addition to the use of a mixed approach. The research is descriptive and has a longitudinal design. In this study techniques of theoretical documentary collection, documentary observation, and interviews were used, which allowed gathering doctrinal, legal criteria, as well as those of legal professionals and people involved in the issue. The results obtained led to the conclusion that in Ecuador, the obstruction of visitation regime is a recurrent problem that influences the strengthening of parental bonds, which produces various manifestations and negative consequences for children and adolescents, thus violating the best interests of the child.
