This research addresses synthetically and concrete all concerning the crime of femicide legal aspects, the social impact of such violation and its projection in the new changes and legal changes that have occurred in the country in the last decade. It is noteworthy that femicide is a crime profound impact not only in the family, but also affects society as a whole because of the violent nature and cruelty of it, moreover when compared this crime to homicide find countless points of convergence, which make similar such crimes the difference being that femicide is a crime that specifically affects women, so it is judged more severely than the crime of murder, a situation that contravenes the legal elements of the charter that raise equity and gender equality, there obviously preferences and privileges to female sex, to the detriment of the rights of men.
