| Shrnutí: | The city of Loja, located at 2100 meters, has a large number of attractions, and likewise four tourist routes defined. Not taken into consideration that the suburbs also keep cultural wealth, which can be used touristically. It is for this reason that the present study was developed to demonstrate that you can add value to the traditions of the suburbs and create new cultural tourism products. As objectives for this research were: Give value and contribute to the development of cultural traditions in the Barrios tourist emphasis Peripherals Loja City as general objective to diagnose the suburbs with their different customs and traditions festivals, formulate alternatives for tourism use in the different suburbs of the city of Loja and socialization for those involved, both residents of neighborhoods, National University of Loja, thesis supervisor and proponents of the subject. To meet the objectives, methods applied deductive, inductive, analytic, synthetic, and technical literature collection, interviews aimed at the 16 presidents of the districts and similarly non-participant direct observation. Among the results, one can note that Zalapa is the neighborhood that has the highest number of traditions preserved, followed by Two Bridges, Chontacruz and sting; also in the process of disappearing traditions are crafts, housing, music and dance, in the most neighborhoods. The presidents, said that one of the causes for the loss of cultural identity is the little promotion, and lack of support from the authorities, also mentioned that they are not trained to care and customer service. Also consider that an alternative solution to the problem is the enhancement of the traditions, becauseit would improve the maintenance of identity and their economic situation. |
