This research a with qualitative and quantitative methodological approach of non-experimental design in which the scientific, inductive-deductive, analytical and synthetic method was used for the collection of bibliographic information, in addition to the data collection the survey technique was used, the interview, in which eighth grade students of upper 75 eighth grade students of upper basic participated. The most outstanding results show that this type of violence such as ciberbullying/ciberbullying does not exist in the institution, however it is important to pay attention to the minority of students who carry out these acts of violence since they can rise and represent a risk to others, it is also evident that the majority of students recognize that ciberbullying/ciberbullying affects emotionally at the school, family and social level, that is, they are aware of the negative effects and consequences of carrying of these kinds of acts. In this way, it is concluded that ciberbullying/ciberbullying in eighth grade students of the Marieta Educational Unit is not presenting ciciberbullying/ciberbullyin.itself in great magnitude, but they do recognize that this phenomenon affects their emotional state in any area of their life. Therefore, it is necessary to propose a proposal based on emotional workshops to eradicate ciberbullying/ciberbullying. Key words: emotional education, harasser or aggressor, victim and spectator.

Key words: emotional education, harasser or aggressor, victim and spectator.El presente trabajo de investigación denominado “Influencia del ciberacoso/ciberbullying en el estado emocional de estudiantes de octavo grado de la Unidad Educativa Marieta de Veintimilla”, tuvo como objetivo definir teóricamente las formas de ciberacoso/ciberbullying que afectan el estado emocional de los estudiantes de octavo grado de la institución. Esta investigación con enfoque metodológico cualitativo y cuantitativo de diseño no experimental en la que se utilizó el método científico, inductivo-deductivo, analítico y sintético para la recopilación de información bibliográfica, además para la recolección de datos se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta y de la entrevista, en la cual participaron 75 estudiantes de octavo grado de básica superior. Los resultados más sobresalientes evidencian que en la institución no existe este tipo de violencia como es el ciberacoso/ciberbullying, sin embargo es importante prestar atención a la minoría de estudiantes que realiza estos actos de violencia puesto que pueden elevarse y representar un riesgo para los demás, también se evidencia que la mayoría de estudiantes reconocen que el ciberacoso/ciberbullying afecta emocionalmente a nivel escolar, familiar y social, es decir son conscientes de los efectos negativos y de las consecuencias de realizar de esta clase de actos. De esta manera se concluye que el ciberacoso/ciberbullying en los estudiantes de octavo grado de la Unidad Educativa “Marieta de Veintimilla” no se está presentando en gran magnitud, pero sí reconocen que este fenómeno afecta su estado emocional en cualquier ámbito de su vida. Por consiguiente, es necesario plantear una propuesta fundamentada en talleres emocionales para erradicar el ciberacoso/ciberbullying.
