It has the primordial purpose of reducing the physiological labor trauma through the application of the physical preparation to reduce the stress level and the natural fear to labor. The investigation design was: transversal, descriptive, bibliographic, of field. The results showed that the majority of pregnant women are between 20 and 29 years old with the 60%, followed by the group 16 to 19 with the 24%. The majority are half blood with the 56%. The study level of pregnant women is high school with the 80%; on the occupation issue 44% are students, 36% are housewives. On the application of physical preparation for physiological labor a 100% doesn't do it; among the main reasons not to do it are the ignorance with the 56% followed by the lack of training with the 38%. It concludes that a 100% of pregnant women do not apply any physical preparation for physiological labor and that the main argument not to do so is mother's ignorance. For that very reason was necessary to apply an intervention plan that allows to inform women about the main benefits of physical preparation based on a Guide where 5 necessary phases are shown to fulfill this purpose |
