PLAN ESTRATÉGICO PARA LA COOPERATIVA DE TRANSPORTE CENTRAL CATAMAYO EXPRESS, PERÍODO 2018-2023

The present thesis work entitled "STRATEGIC PLAN FOR THE CENTRAL TRANSPORTATION COOPERATIVE CATAMAYO EXPRESS, PERIOD 2018-2023" was carried out in the canton Catamayo, with the purpose of responding to the main objective that is "To elaborate a plan that allows a correct planning and mitigation of existing problems in the cooperative. For this, it is important to solve the current problem, which is the lack of a correct administrative and operational strategic planning, the scarce diffusion and improvement of its service; all this limits that it operates efficiently and effectively in a very competitive and unfair market due to the existing informality. For the realization of this was necessary the participation of partners, administrators and employees, in addition to linking users who are the raison d'être of the cooperative, for it was important to take into account materials and methods in which it was able to translate and analyze the information necessary for the development of the work; In addition, surveys and interviews were used to gather the necessary information for the investigation. Another important aspect that served for the development of the study was the use of matrices EFI (Internal Factors), EFE (External Factors) and (SWOT) thus establishing the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats, and accordingly it was proposed to perform an analysis to strengthen those weaknesses and threats that allow development for the cooperative. According to the study and based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the Catamayo Transport Cooperative is in a deficit of coordination and planning both in human resources and in the budget organization and the respective financing required by the company to comply goals; For this reason, the proposal of a strategic plan is proposed, which will serve to improve its organizational structure through proper and formal planning of its activities.
