La motivación de la lectura habitual y su incidencia en el proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje en el área de lengua y literatura de los niños y niñas de educación general básica que asisten al programa de desarrollo comunitario “caminemos juntos” del barrio Víctor Emilio Valdivieso, año lectivo 2012-2013

This investigation work has an objective to analyse how the reading insist in the teachiny-learning process in language area from children of Basic Education to go to the community develop ment program ¨caminemos juntos¨ of Victor Emilio Valdivieso district school year 2012-2013.It is a work that fortify the Knowledge about this topic that affect education. For these reason I want to make known and to spread the results of the investigation and to propose ways of solution in order to carry out the general objective.This investigation is qualitative and quantitytive, to check the hypothesis were used the scientitic, deductive, inductive,descriptive, bibliographic and statistic methods, applying surveys and interviews.The population and samples used are 118 people:10 students of fourth year, 15 students of fifth year, 14 students of sixth year, 16 students of seventh year, 55 fathers, mothers or representatives and 8 teachers that were interview. Then the statistics charts weredevelopedin order to get the percentages and then the results.In the result of the present study children don´t have the developed reading habit. They don´t enjoy the reading thus they are in disadvantage in front of their classmates when they have to study and learn contents by this mean, because of reading is the most important process to get success in any type of study, children displace the reading by the internet, electronic plays and films and for this reason children are notable to observe analyze, think about and they are not critical students.
