總結:This research aboard the following problem: HOW TO IMPROVE THE PROCESS OF READING IN THE AREA OF LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE OF STUDENTS FROM SECOND TO SEVENTH YEAR OF BASIC EDUCATION GENERAL SCHOOL "LUIS FERNANDO BRAVO" ?, is oriented to optimize the teaching-learning process, which must be transmitted in an orderly manner, methodological strategies to develop the reading process where the purpose to achieve lines of action, to develop research results and the work includes still needed done either individually or in groups. To this was raised as a general goal: to design a methodological strategy to improve the reading process in the area of language arts students in second through seventh year of basic general education school "Luis Fernando Bravo", which is outlined main and supporting ideas, each student to develop their interest and concentration. For the development of this paper some methods were used: inductive, deductive; scientific, dialectical; didactic; general guidance throughout the research process techniques used were surveys of teachers and observation sheets applied to students. This research is based on the following population of 72 students and five teachers, so they let know and give an alternative solution to the object under study, also to make findings and recommendations. In obtaining the results of research and reported with theory, it was determined that teachers do not handle clear conceptions of methodological strategies that enhance the process of reading. Among the key findings are evidence that the approaches are not renewed in its entirety, therefore you can not get the improvement in the process of reading. To do managers are recommended training courses in planning reading for teachers on variation and operationalizing strategies.
