The object of the present investigation was constituted by the television, print and radio media, as well as the social communicators of the city of Loja, the investigation was proposed to describe the changes that the application of the Law has caused in the city of Loja. of current communication, this both in its contribution to a development, as well as the limitations that it may be giving. For this, surveys were made to those who work in these media, as well as interviews with quality informants, in the case of the communicator Ramiro Cueva, who is the owner of the ECOTEL TV channel that suffered the closure of the same; in addition to the Director in charge of the SUPERCOM who, due to the nature of her position, is in charge of applying the Law and its Regulation as it corresponds and therefore would have the criterion of contrast with those who received the consequences of the application of the aforementioned Law . After carrying out the investigation, it was found that 87% of journalists believe that the aforementioned Law affected them in the normal work they did, even going further and saying (84.4%) that the media itself that they work was affected. The changes they experienced were: restrictions on disseminating information (44%), re-classifying content grids (44%), the incorporation of intercultural programs, among others. Journalists have divided criteria, some believe that these changes favored the journalistic practice and others that damaged it. It should be noted that the media's infractions of the Law decreased from 2015 to 2017. Finally, it is found that journalists point out that there is a difference in the application of said law between the previous Government and the current one, the The previous one was more impressive, while the current one is tolerant and dialogical.
