Diagnóstico de la situación actual de la explotación acuícola, en los cantones Yacuambi y Centinela del Cóndor, provincia de Zamora Chinchipe

This research paper entitled: "BREAKDOWN OF CURRENT STATUS OF AQUACULTURE FARM, IN AND CENTINELA DEL CONDOR AND YACUAMBI CANTONS, AND PROVINCE DE ZAMORA CHINCHIPE" is a study that was conducted to obtain information on aspects inherent in aquaculture production activities. The same objective is to identify the productive characteristics of aquaculture farms, certain important aspects such as: name producers, referential location of production sites, employed study art at each station, the socioeconomic aspects of the producers and productive parameters of farms along the two cantons. To obtain a participatory diagnostic information with the means to get the information the surveys were conducted, the issues addressed relate to: Socioeconomic characteristics of farmers, as long they have been producing, income and expenses , education level, number of members dedicated to the activity; regard to the general aspects and tech level, addresses topics such as: location reference of each season, referential map of each season, dimensioning, methods of production, mirrors and water volumes; with regard to productive parameters, we address issues such as: supply and demand for meat, productive, type and method of operation, number of pounds produced per production unit and number of pounds offered to the market, etc. The study comes as part of the project: "STUDY OF THE CURRENT STATE OF THE PROVINCE OF AQUACULTURE PRODUCTION ZAMORA CHINCHIPE "; project to provide information concerning the aquaculture production of the two cantons. In Canton there Yacuambi 20 aquaculture producers, that devote themselves to happen fish for the sale, we also found 84 farmers who keep small ponds that do not exceed 50 m2, whose main objective is the family support, the total water surface covering is 32218.50 m2, and the volume of water is dammed 25264.80 m3. In the Canton Centinela del Cóndor there are 16 aquaculture producers, That devote themselves to happen fish for the sale, plus there are 6 producers with their unproductive seasons, there are also 51 farmers, the sheet of water covering among all is 20401.00 m2, and volume dammed water is 15257.80 m3.
