Los estilos de comunicación familiar y las actitudes violentas de estudiantes del noveno año de educación básica de la unidad educativa Bernardo Valdivieso, sección vespertina, periodo 2013-2014

"Styles of Family Communication in the Violent Attitudes of Students of the Ninth Year of Basic Education of the Educational Unit Bernardo Valdivieso, (Evening Period: 2013-2014)", This study aims to analyze the influence of the styles of family communication in the violent attitudes of students. In this descriptive study, we used the following methods: scientific, analytical, synthetic, inductive, deductive, statistical, survey, and the scales of family communication and school violence, applied to the sample of 150 students. Results: The open communication style at low levels is found in 71.33% with the mother and 65.33% with the father. In regards to violent attitudes, 64.76% of the students manifested a communication style at the middle level. This study concludes therefore that the style of communication with the two parents is open, but at low levels, and at higher levels the communication style is offensive to the mother and creates avoidance in the father; the majority of the students possess middle levels of violence and victimization; the prevalence of offensive and avoidance communication styles and the shortage of an open communication style influences the violent attitudes in adolescents.
