| Yhteenveto: | The logical mathematical notions are skills that are developing from early ages, where comparison, grouping, seriation, number, space and time, are central axes for the development of thought, creativity, imagination, understanding of reality and the ability to solve problematic situations of daily life, which helps to stimulate children’s reasoning for the acquisition of new mathematical knowledge, reason why the present research work sought to determine the incidence of game-based learning (GBL) and mathematical logic notions of high school children of the basic education school “22 de Mayo de 1981” of the canton Catamayo, academic period 2021-2022. This study had a mixed approach, a descriptive scope and a type of quasi-experimental research. Likewise, inductive, deductive and analytic-synthetic methods were used for the collection and analysis of information. In addition, it had a total population of fourteen children to whom the Battery for the Assessment of Mathematical Competence EVAMAT-0 was applied, showing that 57% of the children were in a low level of mastery of mathematical logic notions, therefore, a guide of forty activities called "Nociolandia, a world of games and notions" was developed and implemented to reinforce these learnings. After its implementation, a significant decrease was observed in the children in high school, since only 5% remained in a low level of mastery, showing that game-based learning (GBL) contributes satisfactorily to the reinforcement of mathematical logic notions, since they are able to identify various notions like space, time, classification, seriation, sorting and number. Keywords: ABJ, knowledge, strategy, children, notions, reinforcement. |
