סיכום: | In this research, a micro water pumping prototype powered by thermal solar energy and its corresponding mathematical core (MM) was built. Its results were validated by experimental tests. The micro pumping system, object of this study, proposes the use of saturated water vapor obtained through the solar collector, as the working fluid, the very same which drives a pneumatic pump for pumping water from shallow wells. Basically, the prototype is composed of a double angle stainless steel collector (based on cylindrical parabolic trough collectors and Parvati type solar cookers), a vacuum tube receiver, a cylindrical pressure chamber and a pneumatic pump. Within the analysis and synthesis for the MM's development, it was necessary to characterize the proposed solar collector using the standard (ASAE-S580, 2003) thus obtaining the linear equation of conventional power versus differential temperature existing between the test mass (water) and the surrounding environment. For the MM of the harnessing process of saturated water vapour as the working fluid for the pumping system, the thermodynamic principles governed by the study of the pure substance in a mixed state were used. Finally, encouraging results were obtained in the experimental phase since the correct functioning of the prototype was observed and the relevance of MM raised.
