| Итог: | Didactic resources are extremely important elements for the development of the teaching-learning process, since their implementation allows students to master the contents of the subject and build meaningful learning. The proposed objective was: <<Improve the academic performance of students through the implementation of didactic resources that promote their active participation in the development of the teaching-learning process of Biology in the second year of UGB, of the High School "27 de Febrero"; academic year 2023-2024>>. To carry out the research, the inductive method was used through direct observation of the classroom process, the lack of implementation of teaching resources in Biology classes and the disinterest of students to actively participate in the process were identified. Taking account this problem, a bibliographic research was conducted to develop an intervention proposal to solve the identified reality. The approach is qualitative, since important characteristics are identified and described through direct observation and bibliographic review, respectively. According to the nature of the information, it corresponds to Participatory Action Research. because the students are active subjects who, together with the researcher, are involved in solving the identified problem. In relation to the temporal location, it is transversal, since it was carried out in a short time. The results showed that the didactic resources: video, trivia: questions and reactions, roulette, quiz bomb, game "Froggy Jumps", game "Each sheep with its partner", quiz detective, cards, among others, generated the active participation of the students, improving their academic performance, evidenced in the averages, before and after the intervention. In conclusion, the academic performance of students improves significantly through the implementation of didactic resources that encourage their active participation during the classroom process.
