Evaluación del incremento de peso en la fase final de cuyes mejorados alimentados con alfalfa y con dos suplementos maiz y sema, en la parroquia Palmira, cantón Guamote, provincia de Chimborazo

This research project EVALUATION OF WEIGHT INCREASE THE END OF GUINEA PIGS FED ALFALFA AND IMPROVED WITH CORN AND TWO SUPPLEMENTS PHASE SEMA, he was held in the parish Palmira is located south of the city of Riobamba 80 km, It belongs to Guamote, Province of Chimborazo. The objectives were to evaluate the weight gain in the final phase of improved guinea pigs fed alfalfa and corn and two supplements sema, in the parish Palmira Guamote, Province of Chimborazo, determine the feed conversion improved male and female guinea pigs in the finishing phase; fed on alfalfa and under the effect of two energy sources and corn sema, assessing the performance of the channel improved male and female guinea pigs fed alfalfa and under the effect of an energy supplement corn and sema, the Palmira Parish, performing economic evaluation of the use of guinea pigs raised. In test 6 treatments were used each with 12 guinea pigs, 3 replicates per treatment with 4 experimental units, for a total of 72 guinea pigs, located within a shed of 50 square meters. As a result it was found that the food consumed by the six treatments guinea pigs were measured weekly, with these values the final consumption was determined, the distribution of daily food was as (TCO) values were transformed to dry matter is offered. In conclusion it was found that increased consumption of food in the treatment corresponded cuy average one per experimental unit consumed with 9415.67 g, and individually was 3138.56 g; The younger males accounted for two guinea pigs treatment as supplly corn had on average consumed 2858.5877 g consumption, while food consumption by sex, in male average was consumed 3023.967 g 3075.45 g female , superándoles average males in 51.483 g. evaluated statistically no significant differences. It is recommended to all the inhabitants of the town of Palmira, dedicated to the exploitation of guinea pigs: 5 Feed the guinea pigs alfalfa on 100% by the largest increases have been obtained pesos Supplement feed with alfalfa and corn and sema for winning the best conversion and more muscle mass per unit
