Caracterización de las propiedades fisicoquímicas de los suelos y elaboración de un plan de fertilización para el cultivo de papa nativa, en el sector El Calvario del Sistema de Riego Aguarongo – Zañe, Parroquia Chuquiribamba

The research was carried developed in module three of the Aguarongo-Zañe Irrigation System in the Sapul sector with slopes 0-8%, San Antonio 8-25% and El Calvario >25%. In this area annual precipitation varies between 800 and 1,300 mm. The predominant crops are pasture with 34.52% (27.74 ha), cor...

সংক্ষিপ্ত:The research was carried developed in module three of the Aguarongo-Zañe Irrigation System in the Sapul sector with slopes 0-8%, San Antonio 8-25% and El Calvario >25%. In this area annual precipitation varies between 800 and 1,300 mm. The predominant crops are pasture with 34.52% (27.74 ha), corn 32.64% (26.23 ha), white onion 18.25% (14.67 ha), vegetable crops 6.70% (5.38 ha), aromatic herbs 5.01% (4.03 ha) and potato 2.88% (2.31 ha). Potato yields are low because producers apply fertilizers without technical criteria to restore soil fertility. These soils are acidic and have medium contents of nutrients such as N, P, K, Zn and B. In addition, excessive irrigation sheets are applied, which causes nutrient loss through leaching, soil erosion, and seepage that causes landslides. The main objective of the research was to contribute to the increase of native potato yield through the characterization of physicochemical properties and the elaboration of a fertilization plan. Samples were taken from the three soil units and hydrophysical (porosity, field capacity, permanent wilting point), physical (aeration capacity, usable water, physically inert pore volume), chemical (organic matter, pH, cation exchange capacity, acidity and exchangeable bases) and fertility (macro and micro nutrients) properties were determined. The results obtained show the high porosity for the first horizon at slopes 0-8% and 8-25%, CC and PMP medium; for slopes >25% porosity, CC and PMP high; for the second horizon with slopes 0-8% and 8-25% porosity, CC and PMP is in medium; slope >25% porosity, CC and PMP is in high. Physical fertility for the first horizon on slopes 0-8% and 8-25% is poor, and >25% is very poor for root development. In the second horizon on slopes 0-8% and 8-25% are very poor and >25% average. MO is medium, pH from medium acid to very acid, CEC is medium for the three slopes. The nutrient contents of N, S, B and Zn, Cu are in the medium range. For acidity correction on slopes 0-8% and 8-25% a dose of 2 500 kg ha-1, slope >25% 3 897 kg ha-1 of Cal Dolomix (MgO 10% CaO 36% SO4 26%) was applied; and, nutrients N from 123 to 143; P from 73 to 91; K from 301 to 355; Ca from 24 to 29; Mg from 50 to 59 and S from 33 to 38 kg ha-1 in the three slopes.
