Diseño de un sistema de control automático mediante PLC para las lavadoras industriales UNIWASH del Hospital del IESS-Loja.

The present project describes the design an automized trough control system PLC by the washer-extractor UniWash of the hospital IESS-Loja and the improvement of the system of power, as an alternative proposal to replace its present control system. The first chapter makes a general description about the washer; the second contains asynchronous three phase motors and its velocity adjustment through frequency and the third chapter talks about PLC and its programming. In the evaluation of the transformation object, it is explained the components of control, functioning and sequence of the laundry cycle. Then, in the alternative proposal it is described the electric motor, frequency converter, PLC, programming software, control program and plans of the circuit of power and control. Finally introduces technician-economic and environmental valuation, conclusions, recommendations, and the user´s manual for the operation and maintenance of the washing machine.
