SENDERIZACIÓN Y SEÑALÉTICA PARA EL REFUGIO ECOLÓGICO TZANKA DEL CANTÓN ZAMORA, PROVINCIA DE ZAMORA CHINCHIPE

The third generating resource for Ecuador, consists of tourism. This sector becomes an important segment for the national economy, by contributing to economic development and generating employment and foreign exchange. For this reason, the province of Zamora Chinchipe is becoming an important tourist destination in the southern Ecuadorian Amazon, for its natural and cultural charms it possesses. But for tourism development is done efficiently is essential tourist signs, to meet the needs and expectations of visitors, providing clear guidance on each of the attractions. From this perspective, the present study aims to contribute to local tourism development through this work that was raised as a general goal: Develop the Senderización and signage for Ecological Refuge Canton Tzanka Zamora Chinchipe Province Zamora. And three specific objectives: To make a diagnosis tourist attraction Ecological Refuge Canton Tzanka Zamora Zamora Chinchipe Province; Propose Senderización and Signs of Ecological Refuge Tzanka the Canton Province of Zamora Zamora Chinchipe and finally Socialize proposal Senderización and signage with stakeholders. The methodology used to develop the first goal; Perform a Diagnostic Tourist Ecological Refuge Canton Tzanka Zamora Chinchipe Province Zamora was the analytical and descriptive literature method, which allowed the appeal gather information. Matrix author Carla Ricaurte that allowed a diagnosis of the environment and attractive. The interview technique was applied, this helped gather valuable information to determine the SWOT, which allowed forming a picture of the current situation of the place to investigate and thus create strategies for our project. For the second objective; Propose Senderización and Signs of Ecological Refuge Canton Tzanka Zamora Chinchipe Province Zamora direct observation technique was applied, which moved to the site to collect technical looking and with the help of global positioning system data (GPS) is determined the georeferenced data of attraction and location of tourist signposting the trail, the technical specifications of the signage is defined in terms of the rules proposed by the MINTUR and AutoCAD software was also used, in which a planimetric proposal was designed trail, plus analysis 5 of the carrying capacity was conducted using the methodology of the author Miguel Cifuentes. To fulfill the third goal; Socialize and signage senderización proposal with stakeholders Rapid Method Analysis and Participatory Planning (MARP) was used; who gave a participatory workshop was divided into three parts Previous: it was notified and invited the people involved; Performance: the workshop and results developed: conclusions and recommendations received. As for the results of this research it can be mentioned that the canton Zamora has a complementary tourist infrastructure and a variety of natural and cultural attractions including the Ecological Refuge Tzanka which has a rich biodiversity of flora and fauna also a small museum and typical cuisine of the area, but the lack of signage on the trails of the appeal was determined. For which the proposal senderización and signage for the shelter was done by implementing informative signage, pictograms of natural and cultural attractions, restriction and caution to improve accessibility to tourists on the trail and directional signage to improve mobility within the attractive and finally by an exhibition in a participatory workshop it was announced the results to the owners and the manager of the shelter in which some conclusions and recommendations were received. Among the findings could then determine the work done is the lack of an inventory of tourist attractions upgraded sector and the lack of tourist information public tourism bodies. And Tzanka Ecological Refuge was established as an attractive highly relevant in Canton Zamora as it has an important natural and cultural wealth. It is recommended that the tourism authorities of the Canton Zamora, continuously updating the inventory of tourist attractions, as well as existing information and photographs of each. And owners Tzanka Ecological Refuge, make a better dissemination and promotion of its appeal and also implement the use of signage in their paths that best complements its appeal as it has an important natural and ecological wealth, and contributes to the development tourism in the province of Zamora Chinchipe.
