Özet:The thesis entitled: CHILDREN'S EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS TO IMPROVE THE SCHOOL PERFORMANCE OF PREPARATORY CHILDREN OF THE BASIC GENERAL EDUCATION SCHOOL DECEMBER 25 OF THE CITY OF LOJA OF THE ACADEMIC PERIOD 2018-2019; Its general objective is: To determine the effect of the Infant Educational Videos in the improvement of the school performance of the high school children of the School of Basic General Education December 25 of the City of Loja. The participants who were part of the research were 15 children from the high school level that constitutes the sample used. Two very interesting variables were addressed in the literature review: children's educational videos and school performance; The methods were used: scientific, synthetic analytical, inductive, deductive, descriptive. The techniques and instruments used were: observation, teacher interview, the Rating Scale based on the High School Curriculum. The results of the interview applied to the classroom teacher we found that she does not use the children's educational videos in her class. With regard to the results of the Pre-test of the Assessment Scale based on the High School Curriculum, it is highlighted that a high percentage of children have low school performance, after the intervention and execution of the alternative proposal “Watching I am Learning”, an improvement in the results was obtained since only a minimum percentage of the children their learning is in beginning and in process the majority of the children have acquired this learning. Finally, it is concluded that children's educational videos helped improve school performance in high school children
