Sažetak: | The Loja National University, particularly the Odontology Career, it is considered the Health Sciences as the set of disciplines which provide adequate knowledge for disease prevention, promoting health and well-being of the individual and the community, saw the relevance, the needed to start and take for approved conduct this research work had as main objective "DETERMINE THE EPIDEMOLOGICAL BUCODENTAL PROFILE AT "HOGAR CASA BETANIA" NURSING IN ZAMORA CITY, PERIOD MARZO-JULIO 2016". This is the reason because the research work demonstrated the importance to identify main oral diseases and determinants related to oral health, they are allowing them to use new intervention strategies in health services, based on morbidity data. For which he had a sample of 62 inmates residing elderly patients and others who come daily to the same geriatric center that allowed their oral review. To obtain the respective information made medical records to each of the elderly, recording data obtained detail. Once raised field information is tabulated in an Excel spreadsheet where you could get results. At the conclusión of this investigation the results obtained, allow building the dental profile of this priority group, determining the main morbidity: Periodontal disease with 81%, followed by furred tongue with 76%, edentulous with 74%, 71% xerostomia, denture stomatitis by 55%, and other pathologies lower prevalence.
